Voicemeeter Output Device Not Workingl

Important note: Synesthesia requires an audio input device. Simply playing music through your speakers or aux port is using an audio output device and will not automatically route into Synesthesia. To capture audio from your computer, you'll need to use software like Sound Siphon (macOS) or Stereo Mix (Windows). For more on this, see "What is the best way to get audio into Synesthesia?"
Synesthesia requires an audio input device in order to get a live audio feed to analyze. On both macOS and Windows, the audio coming out of the computer is classified as audio output, and is not accessible to Synesthesia. However, there are great workarounds for both platforms.
Sorry about the slow response. Most likely cause is that either the output device has changed names, which can be fixed by going into the device settings in Equalify and switch the device beck and forth to make sure the right one is in the config file.
if using Voicemeeter, why not connecting your application to Voicemeeter output which is a recording device (like microphone input). You normally don't need additional cable to do that... follow user manual until step 5 (replace Skype by your application): -audio.pagesperso-orange.fr/Voicemeeter/Voicemeeter_UserManual.pdf 2ff7e9595c
